Who do you wake up to?

Rickey Smiley Morning Show is my choice. They crack me up in the mornings, even though I miss my old local morning show, The A-Team (HOT 107.9/ATL). I've never listened to Big Boy's Show but I would assume it more West Coast than South. However, Rickey replaced Big Boy in Albany,GA on 96.3 WJIZ and new station POWER 105.5 took Big Boy. Russ has been at it the longest on the hip-hop tip, but it seems he still has the morning edge. I often switch to Steve Harvey's Morning Show sometimes because they also crack me up. I've noticed his show is on a couple of Hip-Hop stations, though his main audience is Urban AC. Never was a fan of Tom Joyner's Morning Show because I felt I was too young. The man still has his juice though. I don't know when he first syndicated, but I was pretty young when I first heard his show.

Rickey Smiley Morning Show - 30 stations
Russ Parr Morning Show - 24 stations
Big Boy's Neighborhood - 31 stations
Steve Harvey Morning Show - 62 stations
Tom Joyner Morning - 93 stations
Yolonda Adams Morning Show - 37 stations

Wow, I didn't realize that TJMS still had that lead in stations, I think alot of those are smaller market, SH has alot of highest rated large market stations.

I still prefer TJMS but not like I used to. Back in the late 80s/early 90s I would sometimes wake up at 5 AM/6 AM when I was traveling to a TJMS city to hear the beginning of the show. I also like Yolanda Adams. I enjoy SH more than I used to. I don't really listen to much to the other shows.

Here in Dallas/Ft. Worth, I prefer the local Skip Cheathum & The Playground. Even though Rickey Smiley is based right here over at 97.9 The Beat, I want to hear talk about DFW and Rickey can't really do that now he's syndicated.

Here in South of Boston MA, I listen to Boston local morning show Ramiro " The Freakin' Puerto Rican" and Pebbles on Jamn 94.5 ( Chr/R ) and D & C morning show on WEEI ( Sports station ). I sometime listen to Big Boy Morning show from Hot 106 Woonsocket/Providence R.I., but Big Boy is not good show for the East coast. I find that The Tom Joyner Show Joke's are corny ( WILD-AM 1090 Boston ), so I dont listen to that show.

I listen to Frank Ski & Wanda on V-103, sometimes the Donnie Simpson Morning Show on 95.5 PGC, or Tom Joyner when I'm in the car while driving around. I like a morning show that talks about the issues and entertainment as well as plays a balance of current hip-hop and R&B and old school music as well.

Rickey Smiley annoys me to no end and so does Steve Harvey. I've listened to Russ Parr and was bored.

I thought Rickey and crew moved here to the HOT 107.9 ATL studios? It was posted all over HOT's website and Rickey's twitter page.

What About Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenburg of Hot 97 nyc i cant lie they are funny, and they target more of the young demo 18-24 5am-10am... tom joyner is kind of boring maybe because im young. Tom joyner is even on a hip-hop station in buffalo,ny 93.7 wblk-fm.

dude cypha sounds and pete roseberg is the worst moring show in radio
i like checking out the ed lover show he is funny and very talent.

He is now in Atlanta.. I loved the A-Team they were the best to me and when I was younger I use to like Tom Joyner (the $1,000 giveaways and the little Soap Opera segment lol)

I'm in San Antonio so I had Big Boy and it was ok but now we have only (Hip Hop, Top40) Kidd Kraddick and The Morning Mess, I don't prefer syndicated radio so Kidd is out plus they're not that funny, and the Morning Mess on the Beat is to hispanic I can't relate to what they're talking about and hearing Tejano in the morning is not Hip Hop to me idk??

Bobby Bones from Austin is pretty good and Ty Bentli when he was at Hot933 in Austin was pretty good
Syndicated Mornings are the future so I guess I'll just stop listening all together (which I basically already have done!)
