Shadoe Stevens...used to be the announcer on the Hollywood Squares TV show. IIRC, he also did some fill in's for Casey Casem on AT40 waaaay back in the day.

Hey Shadoe Stevens is good. I've been a fan for 20 years ever since Hollywood Squares. He even was a regular cast member with Harry Anderson on a mid 90's comedy called Dave's World which lasted for 4 seasons on CBS. He's got a great set of pipes. As a matter of fact when he took over "American Top 40" in 1988 I liked him better than Casey Kasem. I haven't heard his work on Sirius since I'm not yet a subscriber. However I'm not surprised that he sounds Awsome!
