Who else is planning HD Radios?

Ok, so we know that Yamaha, Pannasonic, Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Radiosophy, Polk, Boston Aucostics, and others have them or will in a little bit?

Are these guys or any others(Sony most notable) planning HD Radios or additional ones as well? I heard a while back that 4 other Asian Manufacturers acquired licenses to build more, so we should be seeing more by the end of this year, right?

And what about Automakers? I know BMW offers them on their 7 series, what about GM, Ford, Chrysler/Dodge, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Kia, etc etc?

Thanks in advance for any answers.
______________

I know that Tivoli Audio has put a message on its website that it won't put out an HD model until the manufacturing costs decrease and the technology progresses.

Tivoli's HD statement

It's to expensive...

Interesting article to say the least but I am a little to anal for my own good sometimes, especially when something is very clear. They state in their very first sentence "You have probably heard or will hear about HD (High Definition) Radio". As a manufacturer, they know better than to say something like that when most of us know HD, in regard to radio, means nothing. Yes, I agree that it is retarded but none-the-less, they are just letters.
On the other hand, I don't blame them. The costs associated with this technology is outrageous.
RadioDoc and I have "had it out" over this very subject before. As an engineer for a "mom and pop", there is no money in the budget for such a huge investment, especially when there is no ROI (return on investment) to speak of.
No, I am not a big proponent of IBOC but with K9ez and RadioDoc's help, I can at least see the other side and keep an open mind to this very new technology.
I have gone way off base, sorry.
I will step down from my soap box now.

Don't apologize. You do raise several extremely valid points...some that I hope will be addressed by iBiquity and the like...
______________
