WHO GETS THE MOST VACATION DAYS?

Larry Norton, Susan Rose, John Zach, Joe Chillie, Chris Parker or Howard Stern?

I ask because the above five local on-air personalities and THE KING OF ALL MEDIA seem to get a significant amount of time off each year.

Not that there's anything wrong with that (Of course not!)

I know, it's based on seniority and a few other factors. Not criticizing any of the above, just making an observation.

Just curious about thoughts on vacation/sick/personal time in this day and age of smaller staffs, fewer options for fill-ins, etc.

Well, the max I believe you can get from Entercom, after at least 10 yrs of service, is 4 weeks.

Don't know about Norton. Probably in the same ballpark as ETM.

Stern? Are you serious?
He gets about 10+ weeks. Don't forget EVERY Friday as well...and with his new contract, those regular 3-day weekends will often become 4-day ones, as his 3-day work weeks slowly gain more traction.

Standard for fulltime on-air employees at WBEN in the early 80s was five weeks a year. That continued as long as Larry Levite owned the place. Don't know how Entercom may have changed it...

Bulldog gets four weeks he said last year. But, between those two guys, they seem to be sick or otherwise gone a LOT of days out of the year. I've said it should be changed to Schopp OR The Bulldog.
