Who goes up against K99 in Dayton next?

105.9 and 101.7 were both country and they are now done. Nearest stations to get country outside of Dayton are 96.1 WQKX in Richmond, 92.3 WCOL C'bus, WUBE 105.1 in Cincy, and WIMT 102.1 in Lima. So anyone think anyone will step up and flip to country and take on Cox in Dayton? IMO, won't happen as WHKO is most powerful station in Dayton area and they know they have a lock.

Was there a dominant country station in Dayton back in the WHIO-FM days?

K has the grip on the Dayton country market and CC has tried unsuccessfully sereval times.
(but will give them credit for bringing country back to Springfield on WIZE...and giving Lee Riley a job...thanks CC Dayton!)
