Who had the first Channel Z format

I remember in the mid 90s there where alot of stations calling themselves Channel Z,,,, I liked the imaging,,, I distinctly remember 107.1 and later 97.3 Cincinatti calling themselves channel Z, and I remember a Channel Z 95.7 in Kansas City.. they all need to go back to that.

The B-52's did, on their album "Cosmic Thing", released in 1989 ;D

Oh, we were talking about radio... :p

I realise the concept came from the B-52s song.. Ironically enough Back then I thought that would be an awesome name for a Modern Rock station,,, I should have gotten a patten, cause 6-8 years later there were several modern rock stations using the Channel Z slogan... I tried to call some stations, including WOXY Cincinatti about using the Channel Z slogan and they laughed at me, who would give a 10 yr old a patten anyway... I think 107.1 in cincinatti was the first to use it, but im not sure.. I wish I knew for sure.
