Who has Sirius in here?

Just wondering, I know I said I would probably never get Sat. Radio, but when your trying to find the NBA finalls and am reception is sh*t junk at night, thats just about got me the other night. I'm listening to it online now, I like the music! I may of just got drug in to it.lol

The only problem with satellite radio is that once you get it, you'll never go back to regular radio again!

I know...this was originaly expose to be in the Austin/San antonio boards dont know why it got moved here, I wanted to see how many people in that area had it.

If this were 1976, and internet were around then, the conversation would be the same...but it would be about cable. The antenna is free, with plenty channels...Some (antenna) box to boost channel availability and quality without paying for cable...and blah blah blah.I will not pay for Sirius or XM, but I'll gladly give it a listen for free.To be honest, my number one reason for loving it so much is because it forces radio to be alot more local, and alot less coast to coast.Less chance of one vt town to town, more bodies doing live shifts locally, as XM and Sirius do all the coast to coast programming. (give or take a station...)

My dad has Sirius and i like listening to Howard stern a little bit (Im not a big fan of his really (@ least when he was on regular radio))

There is nothing irregular about satellite radio.Satellite radio does not suffer from irregularity.

I got it and wont ever do without it... for the depth of music for stern for whatever.Pity the cheap fools and their 12 songs an hour.

Yeah. Besides, who would want to anyway.

From channel 6000-6116, Sirius' various music channels`re avaliable to most subscibers of Dish Network (I think if you`re a subscriber of at least the Top 120 package).

I have had Sirius for over 4 yrs now, wouldnt go back to regular terrestrial radio for anything. Why would anyone? Lets see....no commericials on music channels, better playlists, formats not available most anywhere, and nationwide reception vs 20 minutes of ads, endless dj blabber, small playlists, limited reception, same old formats..... you pay for what you get. Sure terrestrial radio is free...look what you get.

I've had mine since a few months before Stern made that first announcement, I think it was October or November, so about a year and a half.

i was going to get sirius back in december but they where all out :mad:im gonna get sirius soon i wanna have both xm/sirius i hate fm :)
