If this were 1976, and internet were around then, the conversation would be the same...but it would be about cable. The antenna is free, with plenty channels...Some (antenna) box to boost channel availability and quality without paying for cable...and blah blah blah.I will not pay for Sirius or XM, but I'll gladly give it a listen for free.To be honest, my number one reason for loving it so much is because it forces radio to be alot more local, and alot less coast to coast.Less chance of one vt town to town, more bodies doing live shifts locally, as XM and Sirius do all the coast to coast programming. (give or take a station...)jras20 said:Just wondering, I know I said I would probably never get Sat.
