WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO EVERYONE HAVING A VAN?WHO HAS THE HOTTEST VEHICLE OUT ON THE STREETS?I VOTE FOR THE JAMMIN 94.1 VEHICLE!!!!

Z106.7...as funny as that sounds...I've seen them with a H3 Hummer with Neon lights on it...and a Nissan Armada...interesting...

the z106.7 armarda is kinda nice! hummer is all right!94.1 vehicle is olay also

the beat has a new hummer, too bad they are too ghetto to be at all the good events in san antonio!oysterbake and niosa!!!!

You know it is interesting how Z can afford good station vechicles with such low ratings. If I was Cox, why waste the money? Those vechicles are just going to have to be wrapped and or painted (whichever they have on them) all over again.

Z would be in the Top 10 if they would go Rhythmic/Dance and not repeat so much.BTW, The Beat was all over Fiesta.

i seem to notice the beat was all over fiesta...from the outside.dont get me wrong..the beat is a good station but other than hiphop events, most businesses dont want their psuedo-hispanic-we-know-hiphop-ghetto station around their clientsoysterbake- beat vehicles not allowed even on premise. had to resort to grassroots marketing and tug on KXTN's cooatails to get in....hmmm....z, mix, jammin, kiss, magic, digital all had stages....... hell even ksym had a stage...go figure!!!!niosa- z106 had a balcony and mix had a restaurant front inside la villita. the beat was so left out they were seen hanging out with robbie during his show....too funnyand with the exceptions of joes aka hoes volcano.....why does every club close or get in trouble with tabc when the beat has a night at the venuethe list goes on!

like the previous posts said: the beat was all over fiesta. what did you hear all over the air? the beat being at all the events. the tabc issue with the clubs in town have absolutely nothing to do with where the beat is. tabc is cracking down on every bar, lounge, club, etc.

nikki nikki nikki...i know your fresh back from the valley, but cmon you can deny the truth....tabs targets all clubs especially the clubs the beat is in!!!! (with the exception of joes) and we know the beat didnt start that night!then why is it everyclub the beat does business with gets closed 3 to 8 months after or they go out of business??? Hmmm i got it..heres a scenerio....TABC listens to the beat to find the ghetto element then closes the venue down.i wouldnt mind seeing you do some clubs though nikki....it would be better than hearing hamm talk over all the songs on the mixshow and say his name 1000 times...i wish mix or z would start live mixing so they could blow the beat out...but i still believe the beat has a few superior mixers...hell as long as cindys there...ak is there...and cant nobody take out ak...retirement or not

ps i not saying its the beats fault.....we know they target the ghetto and everyone else....im simply stating its more than mere coincidence that TABC closes down venues that the beat does business with. only exception, joes.shelf life of a club....2 yearsshelf life of a club with the beat...6 months to a yearseeing it on tv...priceless

This is not a radio issue.

The bars in question were probably shut down due to TABC's nearly 5-year old"Sales to Intoxicated Persons" (or SIP) enforcement program. The programwas created in 2001 but has only been in "full enforcement" since last yearwhen legislators provided additional funding. The program was designed to crack down on Texas' drunk driving problem becausethe state leads the nation in alcohol related accidents and deaths. TABC with locallaw enforcement have been conducting a number of undercover stings targeting bars, clubs, hotels, etc and arresting people for exhibiting behaviours like stumbling, slurring, and being loud and boisterous. However, the program has become a public relations nightmare for the agency. Many haveaccused the agency of overstepping and abusing their authority. Lots of clubs and bars across the state haveeither seen a drop in sales - because patrons are afraid of being arrested - or have been forcedto shut down. In fact, the woman who was nabbed in a SIP sting at a Clarion hotel in Irving madenational news. Here in Austin, Dallas Nightclub sued the agency when it was busted by a SIP sting. The agency stripped the club of it's license but Dallas won it back in a lawsuit. This scenario has been playing out in every city in Texas. San Antonio isn't unique and it hasnothing to do with radio sponsors.

Re: This is not a radio issue.

i still dont believe it!as for NIKKI....lol....yeah i been stalking you! Just kidding!lets see ktfm, beat 96.1, 98.5..your actually a breath of fresh air than what i normally hear on the beat!and you sound so happy all the time....i can actually listen to the beat for my 1/4 hour while your on!!!!lol....i would actually think you are going to be awesome in the clubs.....go make that money....if you were on mix or z you would be the star!!!deejay05 aka closer than you think

i still dont believe it!Of course you don't. Because according to you, TABC is busy scanning the radio dialdeciding which premises to inspect or patrol. I wonder if I were a TABC agent anddecided to tell my superior, TABC chariman Jose Cuevas Jr., that i was going to listen tothe radio to help me decide which premises I was going to target. There's a good policy. If we follow your logic, restaurant health inspectors should listen to KROM to help them decide which Mexican restaurants to inspect. Or better yet why don't they just listen to theBeat.TABC and many other government agencies are complaint driven.Bars & clubs close down because of bad management & market forces not because of their radio sponsors. The comments regarding the Beat, TABC, and the closing of bars smacks of ignorance and borderlineracism.

I totally agree.
