So who is in charge at RKO with Baker, Carbery and Elder out the door?

Will the insufferable John DePetro praise Pat Robertson and have him on as guest?

Will Rush Limbaugh come to the rescue of the Oxycontin Doctor who prescribed more of Rush's favorite candy than any other doctor in Massachusetts?

Will Howie Carr go to Australia and get eaten by a shark?

the station is unlistenable except for maybe Scotto and Jay Diamond.

Are they waiting for school to get back in session before they exile?

It is a ghost ship. I see dead people.......or soon to be dead people.

I don't know who will end up being WRKO-680's program director, but Julie Kahn is now the general manager at WRKO (she is also now GM for all of Entercom's four Boston-area stations).

Same one who one morning said the traffic was " all F***** up"?

Was she a sales "girl" they put in management or does she have a background in programming?

hey... more accurate than WBZ's often-incorrect or incomplete traffic reports :)

I listen to WBZ for news, but toggle over to 'RKO for traffic. Know him/like him or not, Trooper Grant has the jump on the competition because he not only has the police radios in "Crusier 680" or the helo, but is a trained listener who can pick the Important Stuff out of the tons of mundane radio traffic.

This is unlike other stations and even traffic services who have racks of pretty police scanners, but (with few exceptions) get it wrong and/or too late to be helpful.

Was Trooper Grant's on-air gaffe for real, or is it an urban-myth "Uncle Don" style concoction?

You have to wonder if MDC Officer Bill Connell (WHDH 850), Kevin O'Keefe (WHDH & WEEI 590), or Joe Green (WBZ) ever "bleeped" up while live "back in the day"!

Heh heh, he said "Bucked up" but it's still funny.
