Who is the winner this book? Something different to talk about!

And there is some information you can get from the 6+ numbers. You can see who is buying the book. Are they combining streaming or not. With the Radio Insight presentation you see Cume for the 6+. Did some one wearing a meter go east of the cascades long enough to log a signal not in the market.

What else can you learn from the 6+ numbers?

That 6 year olds are listening to classic rock, NPR, rock and country. Probably in the car on the way to school or little league. Sorry for the sarcasm.

Rock on, 1st graders! 🎸🎶

I wonder what kind of music the primary-age kiddos are into. I assume it's still Disney songs more than anything. Or something that they enjoy together with mom and dad. SiriusXM has a Disney Hits channel and a couple of other kid-music channels...ironically just above the gabfest of conservative and liberal talk.

KISW and KZOK are the big winners recently. KZOK is number one 6+ and KISW number one 25-54. The BJ Shea moved appears to have worked for BOTH stations, which rarely happens. KKWF appears to have withstood the attack so far from KPLZ and KPNW. KPLZ is about where it was as an AC 6+ and a little lower 25-54, KPNW has doubled from its AAA days yet both new country arrivals are still near the bottom of the pack. It is still early. Other winners are KIRO-AM thanks to Mariners and KIRO-FM coming on with the election looming. KQMV dominates among the contemporary stations number one 18-49 and top three 25-54 book after book. Lots of winners.

Looks like the Bull is doing OK -- I mean, it's growing in 6+, which may or may not mean anything, but it's not sinking like KPNW Alt did. Hank is up, too.

Also looks like I was one of the 8,100 who listened to KJAQ's HD2 Classic Alternative.

Just like the prior book, KIRO is the market winner from an opportunity standpoint, because it can combine the in-demo numbers from the AM and FM. No other single station in the market has that option.

What's interesting is that KKWF is continuing to trend down, but the other country stations aren't up as much as the downward move at KKWF would have you believe.

The battle for Seattle's country music scene has only just started.. So far, KKWF seems to have slipped from a mid-7 share into the 5's. The newcomer, KPLZ Country, is looking much stronger—a full share point higher than KPNW. I suspect that KKWF will always stay strong and lead the country pack, but it has dropped from #1 to #4. Expect it to drop at more in the months ahead, and it will ultimately rank somewhere between 6th and 10th place. Personally, I love the new pop country on KPNW and KKWF way more than the old songs on KPLZ!
