who is the worst baseball brodacasters

im a white sox fan and the guys who do the tv telcast is horrible all hawk do is wine can get better whitesox brodacasters p[lease

this is an easy call. Ted Leitner, San Diego Padres. Not only is he is homer of an announcer, his delivery is very difficult on the ears--not pleasant to listen to on any level. :p

I concur with Music Maestro, Ted Leitner or "Teddy Lighweight" as most in the know call him, is swarmy, effected, and annoying. The worst. Side note: you don't want to hear that guy call a football game, it's about as riveting as a tennis match.

No one is worst than Hawk Harrelson (White Sox TV)
The Yankee Radio broadcasters are OK but it is very annoying with all the ingame
commercials during the play by play.

This guy wasn't the rock bottom worst..Former Albuquerque Dukes radio voice/LA Weatherman Rick DeReyes on KDEF-AM Albuquerque. Mr. "hitting for the nines!"

Ok so he had a few terminology issues. Still a real good guy to know.

Tim McCarver. Can't stand to listen to him point out the most obvious things as if he is shedding incredible light.

and pointing it out three more times in the next half-inning ... and a couple of more times in the next, just for the heck of it ... or does he think we tuned in for Baseball 101?

All-time bad? Anyone recall Phil Stone? Or not? If it's the latter, fear not ... didn't miss a thing.

That kansas city annnouncer that was recently in the news is the worst broadcaster

I would call it a tie between Tim McCarver and Glenn Geffner. Geffner did Red Sox games last year and I couldn't stand listening to him.

The red hair guy that does the Braves games with Joe Simpson is the worst that I have ever heard. He came to them a couple of yeras ago from the Florida Marlins when they let him go, and I can see why He is very bad. Also, Don Sutton, very huge ego problem. He did the Braves games on WTBS for many years and now is doing games for the Washington Nationals, I believe.

Now that the end of the baseball season is on the horizon, i'd like to vote Scott Franzke(sp) and Larry Anderson as THEE worst radio sports team to date. These "sunshine boys" are so depressing. Everything that comes out of their mouths, just oozes sarcasm. They could make a grand slam sound like a funeral announcement. Franzke overdoses you with stats and Anderson always sounds so bitter. Take some tips from Harry Kalas guys or take a hike..PLEASE>..
