Who is this?

Take a look at the Columbus paragraph in the post by Neanderpaul in the Boston Board topic "Best/Worst markets to work in."

Any idea who this person is?  As described, it sounds like the station must have been WEGE, when they had live jocks.  I don't recall who any of their morning talent was.

BTW, if the general comments in the last part of Neanderpaul's Columbus paragraph ring true, WLZT may be worth avoiding as a potential employer. (It's certainly worth avoiding as a potential listener...)

Interesting.
I read that guy's whole post and it was a fantastic read for anyone who is about to graduate from college.

Greetings!

Someone told me there was a thread here referencing me.

Yes, I was the morning guy for WEGE in 2000-2001. Although my time was brief in Columbus, I still have friends there. Everyone inside the North American building were great. I miss Buckeye football. I was a fan before moving there, and even though it was a down season (Coop's last stand), I can't imagine anywhere in America being a more fun environment for college football.

I see the Blitz is undergoing change. I have no idea what WEGE became. I heard it went "jack." What is the makeup of Columbus radio these days? I think an overview might be fun to read for anyone who doesn't dwell here regularly.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope all's well. Go Bucks!

More specifically, WEGE went TED (Jack by another name) and changed call letters to WTDA, then at the beginning of this year TED went to a TALK format, but call letters remained WTDA.

It doesn't surprise me that no one has been able to put together the "makeup of Columbus radio" overview that Neanderpaul requested a week ago. I don't have the stomach to do it either.
