Who is your fox hole with you?????????

It's crunch time !!!!!!!!!!!
The poop has hit the fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The transmitter os off the air
The number one client is pissed off
You get the picture.....
When times are tough who in radio do you want with you in your fox hole with you??????????

Nobody by Ron or Bob Schacht. Those guys can get the transmitter up and running with paperclips and rubberbands! Ronnie kept WARD on the air for years with that method!!

I can't think of more than two or three people who work in radio of whom I'm 100% sure I could count on for anything at all. It's the nature of the beast. It attracts miscreants and malcontents, pathological liars and narcissistic a-holes. I realize I'm a whore. Selling drugs is more lucrative but at least I can't be arrested for this.

No contest there!! They were/are the best hands down. Give those boys a piece of wire, a rubber band, and some solder and they can do anything.

I spoke with Bob recently.. I can't think of a man with a dryer sense of humor or pun.. and a great engineer. He makes McGiver look like an amateur! Bob's out of work.. anyone with a need for a pro? Give him a call.

Agree with EMO (Tommy how r u?). Bob is the best, and I consider him a great friend. Give him a call. Also had the pleasure of working with KF. Another great engineer.

Tony.. I'm doing great. I spoke with Bob last week. He like us all is getting "long in the tooth" and it gets harder find work in this ever shrinking market. I think we could write a book on all the interesting tales we have about local radio stories. I remember Neil coming into Bob's work area one time and complaining that his desk was too messy. Neil barked "Your desk top is a reflection of your state of mind.. look at you're it aways cluttered and unorganized"... Bob just look up and softly replied... "What does that say about your mind.. you desk top is empty!" Hiope this finds you in good health!

Shat boys obvious ... They would be there in my book.... But they are also obvious....
Kevin Fitzgerald... Absolutely....... He is great as well also obvious ......
But what about support people... What about a secretary??? a Traffic person... a part timer who is always there to take a shift or run the board during a game????
A promotions person who could always find a prize a sales person who always had that prder in the back pocket when management went on the warpath..................
The game day players.........................
Joya Berry in carbondale comes to mind a tough old bird to deal wiht but when you had to get some orders in to hit a goal... she got her done..........

George Schmitt in Honesdale... When the chips are down he rises to the situation every time .........
Ed kanuik....Sp??????? He could sell a football game or two under pressure.....
