Who Knew? VH1 To Revive A Show About... Music!

Yes, the network - whose figureheads these days consist of the likes of Tommy Lee and Midget Mac from reality TV - is actually going to go against the grain they've been going against for the last few years, and actually bring back "Behind The Music":

VH1 stopped airing regular episodes of "BTM" in 2002, then aired only a few a year until 2006. In focus groups, VH1 found "BTM" is so deeply associated with the channel, some viewers assumed the series never left the air.

They used to air a show not too long ago called VH1 Fresh every morning. Was on for atleast 4-5 years. It used to run in the mornings before Jump Start, and then after it (one was a repeat), and would showcase new music. However like all good things that come to an end on a Viacom channel, they removed it from the daily morning lineup and just increased Jump Start, so Jump Start is the really only music on VH1 now daily, and Jump Start is just like MTV Hits, pop, but not appealing mix. However, Fresh runs once a week on Saturday mornings

Behind The Music is the only program on VH1 I would watch when it was on. Now I have a reason to watch again.

Agreed. Excellent documentaries, unlike those "E" True Hollywood Stories that seemed to more filler than anything else.
