There have several accounts suggesting that RCA Records were initially not interested in releasing Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” as a single. The record company changed their mind after a radio DJ in Cleveland kept playing the song as an album track. So, who broke “Sweet Dreams” in Cleveland? Let’s give credit where credit is due.
