Hello. I live in DETROIT, Michigan radio market where CBS RADIO also owns some radio stations and I would like to now who owns the company CBS RADIO, and who is the chairperson of CBS RADIO?

Your answer is here, on Yahoo Finance. CBS Corporation is publicly traded, and there is no single "owner." Institutional & mutual-fund investors (570 total) own 85% of the stock. Nothing unusual here.

CBS Radio is wholly owned by CBS Corporation. As of 2011 and probably still current, a majority 79% of the control of CBS Corporation is held by the privately owned National Amusements. 21% of the company is controlled by other shareholders.

National Amusements is entirely held by the Redstone family: Sumner and his children Shari and Michael.

The chairman of the board, the head honcho, the guy in charge, is Sumner Redstone and his kids, Shari and Michael are coming in control of National Amusements, and in turn CBS and all of its underlings (CBS Radio, MTV, BET, Simon and Schuster, Showtime Networks, and all sorts of other toys.

Les Moonves is the President and CEO of CBS Corporation, and Dan Mason is the President and CEO of subsidiary CBS Radio.

Is this about you telling them how excellent 98.7 AMP FM is? You probably could just call the station yourself and email someone there and tell them how much you enjoy their programming.

A stock that has been very good to its investors over the last 2 years
