who replaced ken matthews on WGPA ?

The Lehigh Valley is now entertained exclusively by Mark Thomas who Plays lovely oldies like See You In September. Old ladies in Bangor sit on their porch and wave at their grandsons (who live down the st)driving to work as WGPA and the soothing words of Mark Thomas emanate from their 1972 transistor radio.

i drove through Bath the other week on that nice day when it was really cool so i had the windows down and i heard mark thomas blasting out of a house and an old lady sitting on the porch crying from the music.

This one scares me because I'm a GrandFather and sometimes sit on my back porch and listen to the Phillies games on my 1972 style transistor radio. Of course, my Grand Son is only 3, so he's not driving yet and he doesn't live down the street.

Hicks, you are NOT a grandfather! It was only yesterday that you were on WTKZ -- wasnt it??? LOL Glad to see you're still alive and living the good life -- I often wonder what happened to Lady Legs there? She was a STRONG woman, I do recall!

I am a Grand Father - technically, a step-grandfather - but a grandfather nonetheless. As for Lady Legs, you mean Leggy Meggy The Morning Show Blonde. Haven't talked to her in a couple years, but last I heard she had pumped out a couple of rug rats. As for TKZ, I'm still technically there, doing a Saturday morning baseball show. Couldn't stay away forever!

No -- not Meg, your old GM, the BLONDE tall Amazon woman who tried to intimidate everyone with her HEIGHTH. I wish I could remember her name, but I know it wasnt Lotsa Leg Meg...

There will be a major move within 1 week but I will not divulge the info. If you see a recent thread that I started you will learn that I will no longer comment about the station whatsover.

Oh, okay. Ms.B. Yeah, she was a great example of someone inserting herself into programming when she had no talent to. It was an interesting schtick, but not something you do on the basis that she was on the show. As for intimidating, I guess she had to use her height, if you know what I mean.
