Who Replaces Gottlieb on ESPN Radio?

i agree with coach & coleman as the top pick. i actually find them tolerable together.

here's my top 5:

1. coach & coleman
2. salk & huard go national
3. taped tv shows from espn (cheap)
4. sportscenter pm (yawn)
5. adnan virk & adam jones

Zero chance 3 or 4 happens.

They'll probably do the same thing they did when erik kuselias left the afternoon show: slide the night host (at the time Gottleib, now H & S) to the 4-7 ET slot and put in an established weekend crew in at night (Coach & Coleman is my guess).

Then again they could run Sportscenter in either spot (most likely at night since they have PxP coming up between baseball playoffs, college football and NBA). They still are running SC all night and Jason Smith's been gone for a while now.

ugh. just found out about the possible switch at KSPN 710 LA to put m. wiley in afternoon drive time. this might be a clue to the national slot (synergy with sports nation TV).

Slightly off topic, but does ESPN Radio require affiliates to carry certain shows?

Not certain what the current status is, but when WEAE was their (company owned) affiliate
here in Pittsburgh they dumped out of virtually all the network shows at one time or another.
(were doing a local morning show initially until I guess they forced the issue with Mike and Mike)

Afternoon drive was local and frequently so were mid-days. And frequent Steeler themed local
shows in the evening during the season.
