It seems that the partnership between NBC10 and WPRO is over. They have not been simalcasting the 6pm news on WPRO the last few nights. So the question is, who ended it? Was WPRO upset about the way Newschannel 10 pressed DePetro for straight answers during the ratings scandal story? Or maybe Newschannel 10 no longer wants to be affiliated with WPRO since their credibility has been lost.

I doubt it's adversarial. They probably just didn't see the benefit or couldn't come to terms on cash. One of the two.

3 things to end that relationship:

1) Traffic. NBC 10 uses Traffiuc.com traffic reports, and Paul airing them could be a breach of contract with Metro.

2) Why risk the chance of them airing part of this ratings scandal in the top block there? It quite obvious that Paul would prefer to handle that situation via press release and not over his airwaves.

3) RNC/DNC Coverage. Why go with the one reporter NBC 10 has at the convention, when he's had 2 at each?
