Who takes a hit with TRG's return?

Obviously TRG's are going to get numbers in the morning. My question is who loses listeners as a result? Who gets hit the hardest?

The big loser might be WSB with Boortz, believe it or not. TRG has always had a libertarian political bent that is more intelligent than a quick listen will suggest, and it overlaps with Neal a little bit. Besides, Boortz doesn't come on until 8:30, so a radio dial set at 100.5 FM before that time may get left there. The other big loser will likely be Project. Z90Dave will lose some listeners, but they will pick up others from the demise of 99X. River never had enough of an AM show to count.

im gonna say rock 100 is gonna take a hit cuz trg show SUX. rock100 sux. the playlist SUX

I really am dissapointed at their playlist as well.

Of course you are disappointed because they are not playing oldies. Personally the mix fits me perfectly but I actually like Rock music so I can see why I like it. as opposed to the oldies crowd or the I only want to listen to obscure commercially non-viable music.

My prediction is Rude on 680 takes the bigget hit. Look at hoiw his numbers rose in their absence. I think he was the biggest winner in their absence so therefore will become the biggest loser.

Judging from their banter, I'd say they take a hit off the bong just about every weekend...

no but they should. if they were hitting the bong they would be funnier

Indeed. Maybe they should start playing "The Taint Game"

Well oldies are my choice of music, and I think that Atlanta needs it back desperately. Plus even with the so called classic they play on 100.5, is just a repetition of the River's tired playlist.

i know dude the point is im NOT listening. Trg suck and when did they ever play nirvana? cuz if they did then they would suck less. if trg and 100 just came o nthe air i wouldnt have cared cuz i dont have to listen but they caused the death of the best alternative station so that makes me look 4ward to the day they crash n burn. trg were lame be4 and they r older and suck worse now and 100 is just like all the othr stations on the air. they forgot there r people under 40 in this city. not every1 likes 80s. its cuz they killed 99x that i will be here on this blog 4evr watchng and waitng for them to get the ax.
and btw never eat ur weed unless u r starving. but if it comes to buying it or food then u should remember... u cant smoke ur groceries. no charge for that public sevice announcmnet.

Are you from the Spanish station by any chance? If so, you're pretty good at English. Can't wait for post #19. You get better each time out.

With me, 790 has taken the hit. Mike Bell moving to afternoons has made 790 decidedly less entertaining in the morning. I listen to TRG now and pick up 790 from 10-11.
