Who turned out the lights?

I had reason to be out and about tonight from over in Arkansas all the way up through Frayser and thereabouts.

All I can say is if the FCC and/or FAA wanted to supplement their budget with tower light violation fines, they could probably rack up quite a bit around here.

I don't believe the FAA plays a role in tower light fines, just NOTAMS once an outage is reported. The FCC has too few people to seriously monitor these things unless you happen to live in or near a city with a field office.
