Another quick change under the new regime at the End. The robot is gone, Pam Wolf is hosting 10-2 today.

Any rumors swirling around on who might fill the vacant slots? Is Palm Wolf permanently doing middays or is she just filling in until someone else can be brought in? Is Harms in PM drive a permanent thing?

I'm hoping the End and Andy Savage can kiss and make up. Even though his showmates have gone other way, he was a giant for KNDD and could be a great afternoon guy to rival the Men's room. The two of them together would be a great marketshare for Entercom.

I chatted with Andy on a few occassions shortly after he left KNDD. He mainly left the End because of his disdain for Phil Manning, plus Entercom had planned on giving him whatever he wanted money-wise to stay but they refused to give his cast guaranteed contracts. So he decided to split for Infinity because they were willing to take care of all 3 rather than just him.

I don't know what the new PD's plans are for the End, but I'm sure changes are in order. They just wouldn't fire Lazlo if they were planning on keeping things the same. And as much as I'd like to hear Andy Savage on the air again, I don't think he'd be a good choice if the focus on new music remained the same. If they decided to skew to an older demo music wise, then yes I think he would be a good fit. I'm sure the ship will be righted though. Look at what's happened to the other stations in the cluster. The Wolf has become a viable threat to KMPS, the Mountain has made some changes and appears headed in the right direction, and KISW is a powerhouse. Now that those 3 stations are in good shape, I'm sure all focus will be addressed on fixing the End.
