Who uses these Roseville towers??

As I drove into my friend's Roseville/Granite Bay neighborhood today, I noticed a 3 tower array (and FM Bays) just s/of Douglas and w/of Eureka. It was inside a residential area. Doesn't anyone know what station(s) uses these towers? Just curious....

Thanks!

didn't radio disney have an office at those towers at some point? i remember driving by one time, and seeing their van there.

Thanks all..

I drove by there again yesterday, but this time I got to the towers. Interestingly, behind the fence is an office, not just a xmtr shack. It's probably from yesteryear when the studio was at the transmitter site and
both were located in the middle of nowhere. I did notice a "Radio Disney" sign on the office window.

That site has been the transmitter for 1110 AM for years. Back in the 80's, it was also home to KPOP prior to their move to Madison Avenue. The building was renovated in the mid-80's to upgrade the KRCX plant, at the same time as the KPOP studio buildout at 5301 Madison. KRCX-AM studios stayed on-site until Arthur Liu bought the station (I believe). Radio Disney used it as a local sales office, but I am not sure if that is the case, since it is behind fences (and still CBS property I think...they have the signage, for now). The middle tower was increased in height in the early 90's to house 93.7's 25,000 watts upon their move from 93.5. (Interesting that the descendant of KPOP has come full circle back to the site where their studios used to be). Michael Rivers Kramer can correct my discrepancies regarding dates, etc.

I recall in the mid 70's that building housed the offices and studios of KPIP-FM (broadcasting in Spanish with a music format and live jocks) and KPOP AM (broadcasting MOR then country with live jocks). Alums of the building in that era included Gene Ragle, Hank Gonzales, Joey Mitchell, Jim Hall, Larry Elliott, Jose Reynoso, etc.
