Who was your first childhood TV "crush?"

Not sure which was first, but had crushes on all these Women/Girls on TV in the 60's.Bridget Hanley- Here Come The BridesBarbara Feldon- Get SmartMelody Patterson- F TroopElizabeth Montgomery- BewitchedPat Priest- The MunstersDonna Douglas- The Bevery Hillbillies
I have to say, that's a great list. But I do recall mine was the late Meredith McCrae from Petticoat Junction. I was so sad when she passed away. I still have the PJ Marathon from TV Land on tape somewhere.Another one I (probably) would have had (if I saw the show in my childhhood) would have been Anne Francis when she was on the show "Honey West" - an early 60's detective show. I have to be honest, I didn't discover this show until it aired on TV land many, many years ago (does TV Land even show black and white shows anymore?)

Does Farrah Fawcett count?
Only to 10 - unless she takes her shoes off. ;D

Re: Who was your first childhood TV "crush"?

My first (and only) childhood TV crush was Vicki the Robot from Small Wonder.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

...mine was Pamelyn Ferdin. She was a semi-regular on "Curiosity Shop" on ABC at the time. I remember writing to ABC specifically to chew them out for not having her on every week (she alternated weeks on that show with Jere Fields, who for the last 25 years has been Mrs. Jimmie Walker)...after that, it was Jodie Foster when she was on "Paper Moon," but a certain nut from Denver made it thoroughly uncool to admit that about 25 years ago...

She was also the voice of Lucy in the early Peanuts cartoons. Don't let her hold the football for you to kick.

And she was perfectly cast as Felix Unger's daughter Edna on "The Odd Couple." Unfortunately, she then left the show to take a part on a short-lived Paul Lynde sitcom, and her replacement on "The Odd Couple" had maybe 1/10 the talent and personality.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Easy -- Cheryl Ladd in Charlie's Angels. In fact, all the Angels, except Tanya Roberts!

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Funny, I always had a thing for Kate Jackson. Farrah was all hair and teeth, and Jaclyn is just TOO beautiful and out of my league -- but Kate always seemed like a perfect combo of sexiness, humor, and brains. If I had to be stuck on a desert island with one of them, Kate would be my choice by far.

...Tanya Roberts holds her own as eye candy if she's in a show without competition. In the early '80s one of the more frequently run teenage sex comedies on premium cable was CALIFORNIA DREAMING, where Roberts was cast alongside Glynnis O'Connor, Dorothy Tristan and Stacey Nelkin. Even the older Tristan left her in the dust. On "'70s" she doesn't even rate as an afterthought...

Re: Who was your first childhood TV

Well, she wasn't my first - and I wasn't a kid any more - but I've been sorry I never worked at a radio station that had anybody like Bailey Quarters. :-\

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Daisy Duke. My oh my.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Mine was Marie Osmond ;D :D

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Annette. with Cheryl Holdridge as a close runner-up.

Apparently, those feelings about Marie are strong enough that you felt the need to resurrect a thread that had been dead for 6 1/2 years. You must be the rock and roll to Marie's country. Donny would be proud. :D

Barbara Eden (Jeannie). I so envied Major Nelson. i used to look at the TV screen and say, "Why are you telling her to get back in her bottle?" She was gorgeous.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

I remember being called as part of a telephone survey
right after "Charlie's Angels" debuted, and the caller asked
me which one was my favorite. I had to go with Kate Jackson,
the smartest and most down-to-earth of that trio.

There was one local personality I had a crush on in my pre-
school days. Her name was Carroll Stoker, and she had a morning
show on WFMY Greensboro called "Second Breakfast." The show
opened with a shot of a steaming cup of coffee under the name of
the show, and I'd have to get my coffee cup (my grandmother would
crumble bread into a cup of coffee--it's quite good, actually) and watch
Carroll. I also had things in my teens and early 20s for a couple of women
who can only be described as weathergirls: Rosemary Lucas on WAPI (now
WVTM) Birmingham, and Gail Janus on WXIA Atlanta. And if I had lived in
Kentucky I would definitely have had one on Ange Humphrey (WLKY, later
co-host of "Louisville Tonight" on WHAS).
