Who was your first childhood TV "crush?"

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Marta Kristen from Lost in Space

Closely followed by Donna Douglas and Melody Patterson from F Troop.

(which was interesting, because when I was actually ready for girls
I was not really all that into blondes)

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Pamelyn Ferdin in "Curiosity Shop" with her white sweater - gorgeous!!!!! :-*

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Penny Robinson from Lost in Space. Hey, I was only 10 years old at the time.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Vanna White. I am a big fan of game shows and she is a total sweetheart

I've heard Vanna actually has gotten a lot of fan mail from male fans over the years on this topic.
Ranging as she described from "very sweet" to "kinda creepy".

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

I could have sworn the topic was "childhood crushes".....not those of dirty old men. ;D

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Linda Goodfriend, who played Lori Beth on "Happy Days." She was the epitome of the "girl next door." Brains and beauty.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Even though I contributed to this thread back in its heyday I thought I'd add my 2 cents and add those television women I had been infatuated with during my youth:

My "A" List:
Meredith Macrae - Petticoat Junction
Tina Cole - My Three Sons, King Family (How many of you remember The King Family Show?)
Caroline Ellis - The Bugaloos
Mary Tyler Moore - Dick Van Dyke Show
Diana Rigg - The Avengers
Jan Smithers - WKRP in Cincinnati
Linda Carter - Wonder Woman
Joanna Cameron - Secrets of Isis
Dianne Kay - Eight is Enough
Christopher Norris - Trapper John, M.D.
Brianne Leary - Chips

Honorable Mention:
Janice and Holly - Price is Right (Models)
Marlo Thomas - That Girl
Melody Patterson - F Troop
Karen Valentine - Room 222, Love American Style
Randy Oaks - Chips
Pamela Sue Martin - Nancy Drew Mysteries
Lindsay Wagner - Bionic Woman
Marta Kristen - Lost in Space

Please excuse any repeats already mentioned but this is probably the most notable women who had made an impression on me ... at least TV wise.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Melissa Sue Anderson - Little House on the Prairie, James at 15, and the TV movie, The Loneliest Runner.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

Anybody remember Sian Barbara Allen? She's probably best known
as Jenny Pendleton, John-Boy's girlfriend on "The Waltons" (she and
Richard Thomas dated in the '70s and once, when Thomas was co-hosting
"The Mike Douglas Show," Douglas surprised him by bringing her out) and
as Anne Morrow Lindbergh in the TV-movie "The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case."
She was kind of sleepy-eyed but had that indescribable something: not beautiful,
but something about her looks and demeanor made her seem beautiful. (Actually,
I think she's better looking now, in her 60s, than she was in her 20s; she also
reminded me of a former girlfriend of mine, but I won't get into that.)

Many of you may have seen her in the movie "Billy Two Hats," where she played
Gregory Peck's much-younger wife.

Her heyday was the '70s, a little work in the '80s, and then she seems to have
retired from acting. I've heard an unsubstantiated rumor that Sharon Case, who
plays Sharon on "The Young And The Restless," is her daughter.

Also, does anybody remember Lauren Tewes, who played Julie McCoy, the cruise
director on "The Love Boat"? I thought she defined the word "perky" before Katie
Couric came on the national scene. Last I heard, she was working in little theater
around Seattle.

Lilleth, Frasier. JUST KIDDING! Seriously, I think my 1st TV crush was "Big" Luke's little sister, Hassie.
OOOPS! My HASSIE post (above) was incomplete-- forgot to name the sitcom-- THE REAL McCOYS.

Re: Who was your first childhood TV \

@bpatrick: There's a name I totally forgot about! I remember Sian Barbara Allen from appearances on Marcus Welby MD and some other popular TV shows from the 70's. I did notice something alluring about her. From what I've read online she's an author nowadays.

I liked Lauren Tewes but she didn't really impress me all that much. As far as perky, yes I have to agree with you.

I remember Melissa Sue Anderson playing a psycho in a movie called "Happy Birthday to Me"
