Nice going Boston Globe (yclept "NY Times, Jr by Scott Fybush); in today 's (Monday, 01/05/MMX) paper they mention that the confab about the WGBH-FM/WCRB situation is taking place. They even mention who will be there (they left my name out) BUT there was NO mention of the location (Old South Chruch in Copley Squayah) or the time: 6:00 pm EST. I wonder if occasional radio commentator Johnny Diaz will attend.

Wellll...I'm only vaguely a radio journalist, and not a print journalist at all. But I would think it's the Globe's job to inform people that an event has happened or is happening...not to advertise the event. If people are interested in the event it ought to be easy enough to find out the details.

It's sloppy reporting on the Globe's part. If the event is news at all then the Where and When are components of the news and should be included.
