Who/What will replace Andy Furman on Sports Talk? Does it really matter?

WLW seems to have a herd of sports dudes that are constantly in rotation during the day, (who basically all seem the same anymore, we've heard them so much). I know one thing, Seggy is not doing himself any favors by hosting day after day.

Bring back Andy.

My guess is that they will find a candidate from HOMER or one of the other CC sports talkers.

The most worthy candidate for 700 WLW Sportstalk is Lance, as long as they let him do his thing. If they were to encourage him to stir up the crap as they did Furman, then leave Lance on HOMER where he can do real sports talk.

Then fill the afternoon drive slot on HOMER with Fish or Tim Lewis, who is apparently back in town. But please don't bring up the annoying and mostly empty Mister "It's a great day to be a Bengals fan."

What did our friend T.J. say to the referee? According to CBS' Randy Cross, it was something about his "lineage"????

The Sports Talk franchise will continue. What's Trumpy up to these days?

Trumpy told the Post's Rick Bird that he's not interested.

...and I think there is a quote out there somewhere where Marty says that there is no way his son has any thoughts of working for the reds next season.

I simply do not believe any 'quotes' I hear anymore. Usually your gut feeling trumps any 'quote' that might be put out there, usually while negotiations are underway.

I think Trumpy would be great, though I have no clue why he would want to deal with the hassle. I say skip over the entire batch of WLW/Homer mouths, we're already sick of them. What that show needs is a personality, which is exactly what Andy provided. I think WLW f*cked themselves this time. The next host will suffer the 'Steve Stewart Syndrome' and basically be put into a position to wither on the vine.
