BREAKING MEDIA NEWS
Debbie Denmon and Michael Rey will get to sleep in tomorrow. Today they were pulled off the Channel 8 morning show. A source says they were not terminated, but re-assigned as reporters. Developing.

Debbie was about the only reason I still watched and was getting used to Michael Rey.

Alexa is the one they need to send packing.

Thank you, my public. I'm sure Alexa and I will get along either like peas in a pod or cats and dogs.

Actually, in years past I had more than my share of the alarm going off at two in the morning--living a reverse schedule in which I was retiring for the night about the time most people were putting the dinner dishes in the washer, and already having worked three hours by the time most other "normal" people were just getting out of bed.

Actually, it will be interesting to see who DOES pop up on camera now for the Yawn Patrol at Channel 8. Debbie and Mike out, Alexa left in place. Geez, will we EVER be able to fathom the reasoning behind some of the decisions made by management.

Yep they sure did, when they actually had broadcasting people with experience running the joint, and actually caring what went on the air.

Yup, biggest mistakes is when they let the Tracy Rowlett leave.

Further, has he given any thought at all as to whom should be moved out and who should stay.

Also, isn't this the second consecutive week that Gloria Campos has been off the air? She could be taking a two week vacation, but it seems that anchors usually are off just a week at a time. Probably nothing to it, but given the instability at Channel 8 right now..................

The time may be closer than we know. If there's a parting of the ways, sure hope she doesn't leave the market. But there aren't a lot of possibilities that would keep her in town. Fox4 obviously isn't a choice, especially with Clarice Tinsley sitting on the throne. Gloria has too much class to even think about Channel 5. Channel 11 is flush with female anchors, unless there would be some way to move Karen Borta and some others out of the picture. So many possibilities, so few answers.

Janet St James is missing too. Promos still run Gloria's image. She is probably in the RGV visiting Mom ,Dad and 10 other siblings.

Although doubtful it would be within Belo. She might make a rational, informed decision--and that would violate company policy.
