I'll vote for Mongo, with hula dancers. I'd listen to that.

That's a good question. Better yet, I wonder who will be doing the 7pm to Midnight shift at FM100 since the position has come available again. Will they both get a local person or someone out of town. I'm thinking out of town on both. I believe if 94.1 The Buzz would give Rick Dees good money to come back to town to do mornings and they tweaked their playlist, it would be a pretty good station. imo

Wow, quite a few openings in Memphis radio at the moment. Afternoons at the Max, nights at FM 100, Imaging guy for Infinity trio, mornings for 790. Could be even more prominent slots opening in coming weeks. Hang on, kids!

Curly (he got a real job). Dennis is the PD and still very much in the building.

Forget Rick Dees. My money's on Wink Martindale. Money wouldn't be any object for him. Besides If FM 100 can do it, why not?

>I gotta be honest; I listened for a while yesterday afternoon and actually didn't mind NOBODY being "on".

I did get tired of the D&Z liners about being on mornings, afternoons, overnights, etc.", but it was enjoyable to just listen to the music.
It's kind a a weird mix at times (like maybe "Rock Jack" format),
but there wasn't somebody "puking" about the time and bad traffic on 240.
