Who will Flip to All Christmas first in NYC ?

B-95 FM just flipped to all Christmas in Albany, New York...I wonder who will be first in NYC WPLJ, WLTW or even WCBS-FM ?

OH Brother! Every year I have to labor through this post.... Who will flip to XMas first?

WHO CARES!!!! Those dopes in St. Louis broke the record last year on like Halloween and
unless somebody jumps on Xmas music on the 4th of July... I for one don't care!

Let me guess... the same station who did it first last year!!!!

'LTW (Lite FM) traditionally does. Should be anytime now....

'LTW usually flips on the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I don't know... Their sister "Lite" station in Chicago went all-holiday hits yesterday. So we could be getting our "Holly Jolly Christmas" fix on 106.7 soon enough!

Only a matter of time before there's an all Christmas station all year round...

Would it hurt Fresh 102.7 if they went Christmas and beat 106.7 on their own game?

I hope they stay away from it. In my opinion, there needs to be an alternative to the wall-to-wall Christmas schlock. I would be interested to see what the TSL is on a Christmas music station. My other question would be, how many people switch from Christmas music stations, and how long it takes those people to go back, after normal programming returns.

love Christmas but not the music yet, few days before Xmas yes!!! but all stations will do it very soon!!! sadly :(

From the Hartford, CT market - My mom usually listens to CBS's LITE 100.5 WRCH in Hartford. They usually start the all Christmas Thing around Thanksgiving. She still listens to LITE 100.5 even though they're all Christmas. The only time she doesn't listen to Lite 100.5 is after 7PM on Saturdays and Sundays when Deli-duh is on. She can't stand her. Once in a while in the car (she can't get it at home) she'll punch up WEBE 108.

I might have you beat by suggesting they start on June 25th. That will be the start of LEON, the six month in either direction to Christmas. It is celebrated in Tampa as a radio station promotion, including a snow ramp with real snow - outside!

Come on down it is an annual event.
