How about a professional musician who occasionally doubles as a "LOVE & SEX" relationship advisor? ;)

I don't think Grace Ross would do it. She's a true believer in her ultra-left thinking. She walks the walk. I have a huge amount of respect for that. Not all of her opinions, but the passion she brings to them that she's shown in her life's work.

I recommend open auditions of the Class of '06 of Emerson College, Harvard University, UMass, Brandeis, Merrimack College, Johnson & Wales, and just for ships and giggles, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. ;)

Ted Sarandis, once he loses the election... his right-wing politics fit in perfectly...

umm... on second thought.

would "Shemp" Lauzier ever get a chance at that slot or does he have another gig during the week?

can't see wolfie re-hiring a guy he fired from 'eei. that's like giving andelman or mcdonough a show on 'eei. ain't gonna happen.

besides, can you see ted discussing any non-political or non-sports topic for three hours?

'rko doesn't have a bench. shemp? ted&ellen? todd? that's not exactly the future.
they're better off hiring a big name from fm like matt siegel or billy costa.

I was joking about Ted... besides, in the morning, you need someone to wake you up, not put you to sleep... and Ted is too humor-challenged, as well.

How about that guy on WBZ Saturday nights before Lovell Dyett, Pat Desmaris? He's conservative and local. I'm sure BZ is not his primary job.

Have not listened to that Pat D. guy on WBZ in years. He's too Conservative for me. I'd like WRKO to go with someone more down the middle..>Scott Allen Miller should move to 9-noon and stop being so right-wing - I don't think that's really in his nature; they need a good new morning show.

Mark Parenteau is looking for a gig, and he has done weekends at WRKO before.

(what he's going to be worse than who is on there now?)

Another boring round of Lori Kramer?

Would Parenteau and his past be welcomed back to the Boston market?

from the feinburg page at wrko.com,

"
Usually WEEKDAYS 7 to 10pm,

but currently hosting 9am-noon on

an interim basis."

isn't he just doing 1 week??

I'm quite sure Parenteau's not very happy with me right now because one of his friends probably sent him an essay I wrote about my thoughts on the entire sordid affair. Mark is a talented man but if you read the actual case and the 18 counts it is pretty gruesome. (His friend defended Mark and blamed the victim; so I got the typewriter keys in motion and the friend was none too happy about that, a bunch of name calling aimed at me followed, name calling which makes this board look tame!).

That being said - he is no-doubt humbled and probably would be the best thing to happen to WRKO 9-noon.

Don't bet on it. Too many potential protests.
