Who Ya Using To Keep Legal? (Oh my god - it's that licensing question!!!)

OK... My first post here... got turned on by one of our Jocks at "The World Wide Radio Web" and was told I had come over here and check out the Internet Radio Forums, and the rest of the site... So... I'm here... and figured I'd check out who in here is using LoudCity for thier licensing, and if they like it or not???I host our streams on our own bandwidth (2 - 10 Meg pipes located in Dallas) - so we're just looking to really figure out who's the best to keep in line with ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC without killing us in fees... I've heard horror stories over Live 365, and others who force you to use certain stream companies, embed ads into your streams, etc. So when it comes down to the high quality and allowing you to do what you do best (as in BROADCAST) - then who do YOU suggest... I'm not committed yet, and open to ideas and suggestions...Sincerely,Robert HantsonChief Forklift OperatorRetrp Radio - The World Wide Radio Webwww.theworldwideradioweb.com

You won't have that problem with Live 365 if you use your own server and automation system. And stream Live. Just don't use their software and server. Just stream live through their encoders.
