WHOOPI TO MORNINGS ON KJR-FM?

I'm hearing from several sources that CC will be making that announcement VERY soon...

Her show debuted this morning on 'KTU and hits syndication in two weeks (Chicago, SF and Cincinnati so far).

Now why would KJR-FM want to screw up their "More Music Mornings"? They just ranked 7th mornings in their target demo, 25-54. Their jockless/More Music Mornings are doing quite well for them. Whooopppeee Schmooookie. Maybe they'll put her on Funky Monkey? Ha!

Actually, I think Whoopi would sound pretty good on Movin'.

The awful music beds that play during the talk portion of Whoopies show deffinitely woudln't work for the KJR audience, it would work for Movin though.

By the way, that Funky Monkey joke really made me laugh.

Looks like new Movin stations coming online in Philly WJJZ and WSNI and guess who's doing AM Drive - WHOOPI -

It would make the most sence for 925 to pick up Whoopi - IF they want females in that key demo Whoopi is the right fit for the format and the target audience.

Family friendly, understands women, funny, topical and a major celebrity.

I can't see a CC station here picking her up. Where would she go....
