Who's better?

Rocky104.9,rocky99 and or quick-rock 105.9?

Pandora Sirius/XM iheart radio is way better that the drivel that is on terestiral radio no one is taking any chances

Last night I was hearing 96.5 on the way home in suburban Pittsburgh. I enjoy it but I'm not planning on making it a pre-set. I also have caught 95.5 over here (who hasn't?) and 99.1 (not bad but not the WIYQ of my younger days) and the non-commercial 88.9 and 89.7 (the latter, of course, a repeater of WQED). There is some worthwhile FM over there, but I do miss the free-wheeling stuff of another time and another place.

When I was a kid, probably in the late 60s, I used to visit my Aunt in Huntingdon and she had cable. It was basically, 10, 6, ABC, 3 and the weather channel. The weather channel was a rotating camera that would move from the clock to the thermometer to the humidity to the barometer and back to the clock. All of this while WJAC 95.5 was playing beautiful music in the background. WJAC must have signed off at midnight because I actually heard a fairly strong WPGC 95.5 out of Washington coming in on the TV.

I could relate a story from the 60's...1965 to be exact concerning a "rotating camera", time & weather gauges, etc. I'll have to check to see of the statute of limitations is up on this deal.
