Who's getting Imus and tba black sidekick

It's DISGUSTING that Mr. Sharpton even thinks he has a say on this topic. Let the marketplace decide. Isn't that what radio is about? Advertisers and MSNBC spoke. It's perfectly fine if Imus can find another way back to radio. We the public will decide, not one person.
 
Is Mr Buffit cool with Imus Return ( all about the money , Buffit pulled all his Radio Ads off Imus , before Imus got the Boot )
 
god, who CARES anymore??? Most of the folks pissin and moanin about all this never listened to the show in the first place. these same zeroes are all gonna tune in on the first day he's back, nobody on the show's gonna say anything racist or homophobic and these Sharpton-led wannabees will be happy with that because they're so smart and know so much about how radio programming works and they'll think they showed Imus who's boss.

too bad they're not smart enough to be listening on day two.

Imus' show/act is laaaammmmme........another crusty old white dude trying to be hip with today's lingo and it always backfires on him......newsflash - THAT"S HIS SCHTICK. It's why the old white dudes who advertise on his show think its funny because they are just like him. Let Imus do his thing and who cares what he does cuz if you dont like the guy, DONT LISTEN TO HIM. low ratings equals cancelled show - the jerks who hate him are helping to drive up the ratings!

Imus WAS GREAT in the 70's - and I LOVED listening to him on my pocket transistor when I was a kid on "dubba-yuh, ENNNNNNNNNN, bee cee....." but those days are done, as is Imus. MOVE ON.

While I admit I haven't listened to him in over 10 years on a regular basis....I think we are all too young on this board for Imus' true target audience...the males 45+ is what he has always been after and who ferverantly listen to him (like my Dad, who actually is in the 54+ category). It was never a show for the women, the under 25 crowd was never targeted
 
Imus was good before he got all political. Once he went to WFAN he slowly morphed into part Rush Limbaugh. He changed his whole identity. It just doesn't appeal to me.

The way Imus groveled to the likes of Sharpton before his firing and him coming back
the way he is leaves me with absolutely no respect for him on any level.
I'll never listen to him again simply as a matter of principle.
