Who's Going To The Talkers Seminar This Weekend?

The magazine is hosting a two day convention in Midtown this Friday and Saturday. Scheduled appearances include Bob Grant, who will be accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award he was supposed to receive from R&R before they caved to Rev. Al. Sean Hannity will also be in attendance, as will WFAN's Boomer and Carton.

Has anyone been to one of these shindigs in the past? Anyone plan on going this year?

I have.

Go, learn and have fun.

Give Hannity my best. But get the late-night ice cream from him first.

You can expect one, big talk host circle-jerk.

Lots of self-importance to go around. The panels are especially nauseating as hosts discuss in great detail all of their theories about what makes "great" talkradio.

Don't expect to hear any groundbreaking anything.

More of the same ol', same ol'.

I've posted a review of the convention, complete with photos and videos. The link is in the third and final line of my signature below. Hope you all enjoy it.
