Just before 3pm Tuesday I was listening to "Max Morgan" reading the weather forecast. She ends with "and for the weather anytime, just log onto 1290 The Ticket.com.

Problem was, she was on WILM! Now, I've heard traffic reporters give the wrong call letters. It happens once in awhile when you are on a different station every three minutes. But when you are recording? Doesn't she check her work to make sure its on the correct drive?

What's worse, as I said, this was just before 3pm. It had certainly aired before. No one at CC heard it? No one cared enough to re-record the weather? Is anybody home?

The advantage of automation is nobody needs to be at home.

These are Clear Channel stations. Clear Channel employees everywhere are paying more attention to getting their packages together and sending them out. When cuts are expected, nobody cares about this kind of stuff.

Not at Clear Channel Delaware. Ask anyone there and they'll tell you they're invincible and untouchable...
