I haven't heard anything other than the discussions on the radio boards, however, I find it kind of surprising that more people aren't speculating about PLJ being the next one to flip. Sure, it's a bit more "female-friendly" than RXP, and still bills well, but there is enough overlap between the two stations' playlists that could cause some PLJ listeners to check out 101.9. PLJ's ratings are anemic enough as it is, even a small loss of listeners might mean big trouble for them, such as less billing, and thus, less of an incentive to keep the format going.

I think it would be wise for WPLJ to flip to jazz and grab that position before someone else does.
WPLJ did well for years and years as the #2 AC station in NYC, but now it's the #3 AC station.
Plus, it seems like a 35-44 targeted Jazz station would make for a nice combo-sell with WABC.
