What stations are on auto-pilot this morning?

WMRD AM 1150 in Middletown and their simulcast partner WLIS AM 1420 in Old Saybrook are on auto-pilot. They're just playing a mix of Adult Contemporary Songs, Commercials, and a pre-recorded announcement from their morning man Bob Muscatell saying he hopes everyone is enjoying their Labor Day.

WATR AM 1320 in Waterbury is also on auto-pilot this morning. They're running the Jones Oldies Network with local commercials and station promos mixed in. I think their automation system fell asleep at 7AM however because after AP Network News and 2 commercials, they station switched to dead air, interrupted occasioannly by commercials and station promos. At 7:27AM the Jones Oldies Netowrk came back on.

This morning, from maybe 11pm on, I-95 was running recorded Live8 coverage off the automation. I woke up around 1am to a rather disturbing automation glitch. The system kept playing the same CarFax commercial end to end, back to back for more than an hour. It woke me up so I changed the station to WHUD for about an hour. When I went back to WRKI, this time there was a National Security Council PSA playing over and over. I didn't hear any station IDs. I didn't continue to listen beyond that point, but I'm willing to bet the problem wasn't fixed until Neil Hedley came in to do the morning show!

Ugh... automation.
