Who's showing NE/TB from London in the UK?

Per http://www.patriots.com/games/index...tsdetail&pid=36183&pcid=43&special_section=na , the Brits have a choice between the Beeb-1 and Sky Sports...

... The game, which will be televised live in the UK on BBC ONE and Sky Sports 1 ...

No, that verbiage looks like some material that the webmaster sloppily left over from a discussion of who was showing the last Super Bowl in the UK.

The answer to your question is: Sky Sports 2 (live) with BBC 2 showing highlights of the game at Midnight BST on Sunday night.

Here's what Sky Sports has to say about the game: http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,12134_5646016,00.html

That verbiage, I copied and pasted from Google, since the link took too much time to download. Hence, no context.

I assume BBC-1 and Sky 1 did show SB 43, am I right?

That's my understanding; however, I am not sure why a pay channel and the BBC would both show the game live. So, I wonder whether BBC One's coverage was on delay.

Blimey! I've got a headache from reading this thread. Is it really necessary to quote a post that is the last post on the thread? That defeats the purpose of using the quote option; in fact, it could be construed as misuse. Just makes threads a big mess.

Anyway... The game was not carried in the New York metro area because CBS had a single game schedule this week, which meant the hometown Jets at Oakland.
