Who's the woman on LOQ nights?

Has there been a change on nights?
Last couple of nights, a very pleasant woman has been on.
Any info?

Her name is Katy Cole. Don't know her background, the name isn't familiar as far as being on the staff at any other big SJ station but she appears to have worked in New Mexico, which means she may have worked with their PD at some point in time.

I am told...Mick Dolan was let go because of "cost cutting".

I found a google link that had her on the schedule at a Univision smooth jazz station in NM, her name has not been removed from that site which could make one think that she is not in the studio in Orlando talking to you..if you know what i mean. Cost cutting....

It was sad for me to see Mick get canned. Just a month ago he, Joe Francis and WLOQ's owner had lunch together. Herb ('LOQ Owner) commented on how good Mick sounds. Joe tells me Mick is trying to move over to the promotions end of the music biz.

Shame 'LOQ is in the Cost Cutting mode now...my understanding they are coming off of a very good book (below is 12+ Link). Congrats to Brian Morgan...I was told he is 5th in market.

So they brought the curtain down on him...BIG DEAL! Another dinosaur time has passed by. Perhaps he can go back to being a janitor like he was before being brought out of radio retirement by WLOQ five or so years ago. The guy was horrible at remotes/events and stunk up mornings with Taylor...and every place else he landed there in my opinion.

Question now is, who will be next...I am betting on PJ. I am thinking out the door by start of Spring Book.

i met mick a few times when he was doing afternoons at WDIZ, i was working at the local mullet wrapper and he would come out to the minor league baseball games at tinker field.......very nice guy, a true contributor to society unlike bottom-line.

keep flipping those burgers bottom line......

PJ just got back her music director stripes. That being said the way automation usuall goes is first overnight, then evening, then midday with a syndicated morning or PM drive show coming along sometime around then. When when cutbacks happen it has nothing to do with talent, longevity or loyalty. Cost cutting knows none of those things.
