Whose voice do you wish you got to hear more of?

I know of some broadcasters in Atlanta who are seriously underutilized. I was curious to see if anyone else felt like naming some. Even more curiousto see if anyone else names the guy I have in mind.

Tim Andrews - though, in his case, it would be voices...

Jim Morrison - Sounds great on the Global Imports BMW and Butler Tire spots; probably could not be coaxed into an air studio at this point.
Sandy Weaver - I've listened to Sandy for almost 30 years; what an awesome CHR jock she was, and then she made the move to country; she should be on the air.
JoJo Morales - Another natural talent; would fit into hot AC, AC or middays on CHR.
John Young - Former PD and disc jockey; now a successful VO talent; may still do a Saturday talk show on WNIV; he also probably could not be coaxed back to music radio.
Steve Mitchell - Above-average jock and absolute wiz at VO and production work.

I agree with the vote on Jim Morrison. He was great on 94Q. Remember when he did the entertainment show on TV36 back in the 70's?

Man, I agree. JoJo it would be a pleasure to hear you on air here again. I mean since you taught me how to run a sound board and all... ;)

Tie between Tom Shane, Mike & Stan, and the Brandsmart v/o guy(s).

Meat Loaf -- They don't play nearly enough of his music, even though he has a great voice.

Justin Hayward -- Not enough Moody Blues music on the air. More of Hayward's voice would be good to hear.

Dave Mason -- Great voice and the songs he sang used to be very prominent on AOR stations, but he seems to have disappeared from the air.

Bonnie Tyler -- She sounded like she gargled razor blades, but still a great voice I wish they'd play more of.

Laura Branigan -- Whatever happened to chick singers with powerful voices? I wish her voice was on the air more.

Dave lives in Atlanta. He is in strong rotation on my mp3 player both solo and his work in Traffic.

I agree on the ellinger front. what about trible getting used more?

What band was ellinger the singer of? What hits did he song on?

More Royal Marshall and Jen Hobby. They both have sensational voices in a literal sense and they both deserve more mic time. As I recall, Garrett the 40 yr old intern from Regular Guys 2.0 also has a great voice. Whatever happened to that guy anyway?
