Check out WHOV.org on Wednesday nights 6pm to 9pm Eastern Time for a good oldies show. I think Bobby Jay is a DJ that was on radio in the 1960s. He plays soul music from '65 to '85 mainly, and has personality.
I am not familiar with the WCBS FM DJ but this Bobby Jay sounds like the guy who did the Crazy Eddie commercials but black, that is the best I can do to describe him. I might put a sendspace file of part of his show if you are interested.
