WHP-TV's Kirsten Page

FTVLive is reporting today, via the Patriot News, that WHP-TV anchor Kirsten Page is no longer with the station. Her contract was not renewed, and her last day on the air was July 28.

WHP-TV General Manager Matt Uhl is also no longer with the station. A Clear Channel regional vice president, who is also GM at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, will be acting GM at WHP-TV for the time being.
 
Nothing against Kirsten Page or the current staff, but TV21 News (no matter what it's been called) has lagged in the market since the 80s (and has probably moved into 4th place since Fox43 started news in the 90s). CC is making cuts all over, and they probably want to offer a "fresh face" when the 10pm news restarts on CW15.

I kinda liked Kirstin's face... Nothing against Tom Donovan, who I'm sure is a great guy and all... I'd rather have Kirsten tell me goodnight.
