They located on an existing tower about 30 years ago. It belonged to one of the TV stations, but with the repacking, I'm not sure who's there now.

WHQC 96.1 is located on the tower owned by FOX Broadcasting. WJZY (TV 46) is the primary station there. Beasley's WNKS 95.1 and WPEG 97.9 are also located on that tower.

I wonder if any of the radio antennas on the WJZY tower will move next year because of the FCC repack. WJZY FOX-46 will move their side-mounted transmission antenna to the top of the tower, and change from RF47 to RF25. So the 47 side antenna may be removed, along with the RF39 antenna for WMYT-55 which has already signed off the air. WMYT-55 (my12) now channel shares with WJZY. Perhaps 95.1 or 96.1 could move their antennas higher on the tower.

Channel 96.1 has rebranded as Hits 96.1. Other than marketing, has their been any change to the music mix? Are they still CHR or more rythmic? How do they differentiate or compete with Kiss 95.1, or will they eventually flip to Hot AC or something else?
