WHQC/WLKO PD Exits

He's been in Charlotte since 2018

Why are PD's still needed at iHeart CHR and AC statons? It's homogenized radio. WLKO doesn't even have jocks, not that there is anything left for the DJ to do, no discs to jockey not even a CD or cart . The computer never complains, asks for a raise, or a day off. The computer is just dull compared to those flawed humans. The flawed humans were funny and more fun to listen to!

Give AI time and that will change.

Greenville needs WLKO but I understand there is a translator there.

WLNK has the music Greenville is now missing, but there is a translator at 107.9 too.

Yes translators now interfere with WLKO and WLNK in Greenville except for some of the suburban areas such as Greer, parts of Simpsonville and Mauldin. But can be heard in Spartanburg.

The Greenville Lake at 102.5 used to be more similar to the Charlotte Lake on 102.9 but is now more rock oriented.
