WHTS/Quad Cities - more from last day of CHR format

I have uploaded a scoped copy of afternoon jock Red Hot Brian Scott's final show (2/3/2006 1:00-5:30pm) from the last day of the "All-Hit 98-9" CHR format on WHTS/Rock Island, IL. It features numerous interviews with former jocks and several old sweepers/promos from the station's earlier days as WPXR "Power 98.9". If you were a fan of WPXR/WHTS or CHR formats in general, this is worth listening to.

The first time I heard of this jock was a few weeks back when the station changed formats and the format change was posted. He really is talented and I am sure will pop up soon somewhere else.

It's pretty likely he'll show up again in the QC market soon. Rumor has it that All-Hit 98.9's primary competitor, crosstown Cumulus CHR outlet "B100" KBEA, is about to or has already hired him and another former WHTS jock to do mornings. The "Invade B100" campaign looks a lot like a stunt.
