WHTT Flips to Classic Hits!

Joe's only got one station to program, so he's going to have to do an airshift.
Reminiscent of the Heyday. I believe Call Me Sherlock can attest to the fact that BOTH can be done, and is a necessary evil to success of the station. ("Be The Ball" - Chevy in Caddyshack)

This has truly been one of the most underwhelming format switches of all time. One look the Spring arb, and then a sheepish switch back to what they were once known for, musically anyway.

No stunting, nothing interesting to make us wonder what might happen next, just a quiet format switch in the middle of the night during a quiet Buffalo summer.

Sad how little creativity is left in this once proud business.

Hard to be creative when all you've got are two guys, no money, and very little lead time.

I Second That Emotion - Smokey and the "Miracles"?

That's all

One week after WHTT reverted to classic hits, it sounds like a re-hashed Mix with some 60s, lots of 70s and some 80s, minus the girly 90s songs, re-currents and currents. It's a better product in a new wrapper, but after only one week, the repetition is beginning to show. Do folks really need to hear "Silly Love Songs" three times in seven days?

The repetiton has definitely begun. While listening 4 days in a row, all different times of day of course, I heard Chicago's "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is". Plus I've just heard alot of the same songs two or three times already. I am a huge fan of the format, but you must expand the list or it's gonna burn out FAST! Some different voices would also be nice, the only two I've heard is Siragusa and Bill Lacy. Tesh at night is awful!

I agree, but is Tesh there because the station is finishing up a contracted arrangement, or is this so FM 96 & others can't pick him up?

Radio IS a business before it can be anything else.

If ratings for Tesh perform, why hand him over to the competition?
(I say this clueless to the true Tesh ratings in Buffalo, respectfully.)
