WHUD A.I or Automated Traffic Reports ?

If it’s the same voice that’s shown up on WXPK recently it doesn’t sound automated to me. The audio is quite overmodulated though.

I'm sure it's a case where the traffic reporter is someplace remote. Is he at the Pamal Albany studios? Maybe he's at home on his computer? I would guess that he records his reports, sends them to WHUD and then the host plays it at the right time.

It really wouldn't make a lot of sense to use AI to voice traffic reports. I hope the reporter isn't just saying where the accidents or delays are but is drawing a picture of what's going on along the major roads in the listening area.

Simple weather reports can be done with prerecorded "Sunny tomorrow. High in the 60s." But you can't do that with traffic.
