Why 2 THIS-tv's?

I rescan periodically and noticed now we have the tried and true THIS-tv @ 2.2 but also a new "but exact replicate" of THIS showing up at 57.7. Their is no 57.5 or 57.6.

Anyone in the know, know what's going on?

Possible affiliation change for 2.2?

In the San Francisco Bay Area we have TWO THIS TV
AND
TWO Grit TV stations!!!
That has me scratching my head, too (no pun intended)

ME-TV is moving from KUBE 57.4 to KPRC 2.2. It may have already moved, because it is no longer on the KUBE webpage. I think that is bad for The KUBE.

Though good for MeTV. They were able to move from a subchannel of an independent station, to a subchannel of a major network affiliate. But the KUBE gained Cozi and ThisTV. KTMD was able reclaim its spectrum. Everybody did well.
